Help Us Save America's Horses!


Over 100,000 American healthy horses were slaughtered in 2006 and served as dinner overseas.  Horse advocates have been campaigning for years to pass the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act (S311/HR503) to finally put an end to this cruel and inhumane practice.

Please help us rescue these horses caught up in the pipeline.  Your donation will help save some of these horses from this cruel fate and aid in the funding needed to place them and care for them at horse rescues across the country. These rescue facilities are in desperate need of funds for Feed, Medical Care, and for their overall safety and welfare.

Hearing about this horrible accident and being only an hour away, I drove to IL the very next morning to start investigating what had happened and to see if the Farm where the remaining survivors were needed any help caring for the horses.  I learned first hand that this accident was the most devastating experience most of the rescuers had ever encountered.  Currently, it is believed that these horse were on their way to be slaughtered. As the investigation continues, I was able to visit the horses a couple of times and even take some photo's. (see photos below)

It's time to ask Congress to pass
The American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act
Senate Bill S311 and House Bill HR503 to end the slaughter and the transport of our American Horses.
